The formation of the five-piece from Martin dates back to 2008 and surprisingly, the drummer Miriama, a passionate fan of heavy, glam and hard rock of the 80s, is behind it. As the EUFORY genre tag suggests, their two already released albums are characterized not only by dynamic guitars and the expressively rich voice of singer Marek Milo, but also by playful melodic lines that may remind you of bands like Helloween or Primal Fear. But EUFORY are looking further afield, which is confirmed by the worldwide reviews of their second album “Higher and Higher”. In their work they play with compositional construction (they also like prog and bands like Dream Theater), but they also incorporate synths and subtle orchestrations or take a trip to the Far East for inspiration.
With their uncompromisingly energetic concerts, EUFORY have been winning new fans at home in Slovakia, but also in the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland for many years now, because they never lack a confident, brilliantly singing frontman, impressive solos, or high-quality, imaginative instrumentation. They showed it as a guest on the tour of the German Freedom Call, or when they opened for the famous Rage, Powerwolf, Masterplan, Bonfire, Gloryhammer etc. or the bastions of heavy metal: the festivals Masters of Rock or Top fest.
EUFORY go far beyond the borders of their homeland and have confidently set out to stretch across Europe, which is why they have collaborated with Jens Bogren’s renowned Fascination Street Studios for their upcoming release on Smile Music Records.
